Working from home, renting out a holiday home or providing bed and breakfast - you may have to pay business rates on your property
If the details of the property shown on your summary valuation are correct, there is nothing more you need to do. You should keep your summary valuation in a safe place and refer to it when you receive your business rates bill. This will usually be sent to you by your local authority between February and April, unless there is a change to your rateable value, at which point a new summary valuation and bill will will be issued.
If your summary valuation has details that are wrong, amend it and send it back to the Valuation Office that sent it to you.
